12 DAYS OF GIVING🎁

12 DAYS OF GIVING🎁

As the holidays approach, TiA CiBANi wants to do something special to show our appreciation to you as our loyal and supportive customers and to our community. From December 13th until December 25th, for every purchase, we are going to include a surprise gift in your order as well as donate to three charities, Clothes to Kids, Catie's Closet, and Knock Knock Give A Sock.

Clothes to Kids and Catie's Closet are charities that are involved in providing new and quality clothing to low-income or in-crisis school aged children. They all have visions of improving the confidence and self-esteem of children while achieving academic success. Knock Knock Give A Sock is an organization that aims to humanize homelessness in the USA by turning transactions of socks into meaningful interactions amongst one another. Last year we donated 31 pairs of socks and 36 pieces of clothing to these charities and we are looking forward to helping even more! Please join us in supporting these charities either by placing a purchase with us or donating your own lightly used clothing to any of these organizations during our 12 Days of Giving!

Catie's Closet is a non-profit organization that provides clothing, toiletries, and other basic essentials to students living in poverty right from within their schools. They set up free stores right within schools to allow children direct access to everything they need to attend class confidently. Catie's Closet is named for Catie Bisson, who passed away at the age of 20. As a teenager, Catie understood the barriers children faced that kept them away from school. She believed education should not be a privilege. Her legacy now lives on within Catie's Closet and her memory is honored by helping children access the essentials they need to excel in their education.

Knock Knock Give A Sock is a non-profit organization that is aimed towards humanize homelessness by turning transactions of sock donations into meaningful interactions among one another. While handing out sandwiches to people experiencing homelessness in NYC, Adina Lichtman, the founder of KKGS, was told that although sandwiches were a great thing to hand out, what was really needed was socks. After this interaction, Adina knocked on doors on her floor of her NYU dorm and asked for donations of socks, even a single pair. By the next day, the sock donations grew. This is how KKGS began and has been making a huge impact in the lives of homeless people since then.
