Introducing the new TiA CiBANi Spring Summer 2025 Collection, GARDEN OF PEACE:

The land of olive trees and mythology. The land of astronomy and the founding of democracy. Archie was enchanted with the history, architecture, and the food. We traversed along the charming alleyways of the city of Athens making our way to the Acropolis, a hilltop citadel topped with ancient buildings like the colonnade Parthenon temple.
As we strolled through the town center, it was the colorful folk charm and ornate traditional dress that caught my eye. A visit to see our friends in Cyprus opened our eyes to the delicate Lefkara lace embroidery which adorns everything from curtained windows to tablecloths to romantic house dresses.
A color palette that relies on the classic Olympic primary tones is the foundation while unexpected shades of shocking Bougainvillea pink and Helios blindingly bright orange add the unexpected folk element that is at once playful and eclectic.
Cross-stitch Lefkara inspired floral patterns known as the Chloris Cross-Stitch Poplin, takes center stage in shades of Dolma green, Cyprus pale blue and Helios neon orange. Sweetly trimmed with scalloped edge lace on flirty sundresses, volume skirts and ruffled blouses. Additional Lefkara influences can be seen in the hearty Lefkara Embroidered Lace draped into romantic handkerchief square cut dresses, blouses, and skirts.
A visit to the Paphos Archaeological Park informed the Paphos Mosaic screen-print of colorful dots that puzzle neatly into an infinite poetic pattern finished off with a delicate border. Complimenting the Paphos Mosaic print is the Paphos Stripe Shirting, a kind of handwoven ticking stripe in multi colors. Crisp and smart, it is tailored into handsome shirts with delicate ruffles, easy walking shorts and shirtdresses that are made for play.
The Garden of Peaceful Stripes is a flag like banner symbolizing eternal love, embrace of all mankind and peace on earth. Watercolor rainbow stripes are screen-printed on crisp cotton poplin while olive branches make their way in a music-note like formation throughout. Tailored in a multitude of shapes that range from boys to girls to baby and women, this message is a not-so-subtle nod for our moment in time.
As ever, the Classic Cotton Poplin is renewed by way of scalloped edges in contrast embroidery and the dependable Ticking Stripe Stretch Tarp is reworked in clean shapes with ribbon tie closures and elegant ribbons streaming along the seam lines highlighting the meticulous construction.
Crochet knits evoke the essential layering message in handsome cardigans and sweet vests while accessories are colorful and bejeweled with pompoms, tassels, coins, and bells.
